I have an awesome fiance and a son 16, and two stepdaughters 16 and 11. I live and work on a large hog operation as a supervisor. I love all aspects of the outdoors. I was the oldest of three so I was dad's hunting and fishing buddy, which I wouldn't trade for anything! Would love one day to have our own place in Montana, Wyoming or Idaho and I could finally have my cattle ranch and of course our own hunting outfit!

Greetings...just wanted you to know I am dropping off this page. Too many really stupid blogs to make it any fun to write...mostly anti-hunters, I believe and the administrator doesn't stop them. Any how nice interacting over the years. May the tree of life shade you and yours for many more years.

hi Tina, well sweetie anything to help with the sturgeon fishing i there for ya!! when we fish for them we use a slip sinker set up and we use smelt, eel or any other small bait fish (whole) we use dacron 100# leeder about 18 to 24" long we insert the hook through the heah of the fish and use half hitches up the body. about 4 or 5 depending on the size of your bait. toss it out and let it sit, it kinda like catfishing. i dont know if fishing the lake's for them is different than the river, we ushally look for deep holes where the current of the river deposits food for them. any way i will try to get a pic uploaded of a leeder set up on here for you! oh and we like to use 65 to80# tuff line as our main line. ttyl hon, Ernie
