There are a few people on here that know me personally so I must be very careful what I say. I found the gold mine SHHHH! I said it; Keep it on the down low ok. The bucks that we were on already figured us out, like big bucks always do. We had them 20 yards off the tree and didn’t make it happen on the monster two times, I knew he would be on to us. Might not see him again till the rut, now someone in my club drew on a nice 160” two nights ago but couldn’t get the shot off, that’s cool. I have trail photos of that ten point, he’s a bruiser I figured he would pop up sooner or later. Back to the gold mine, all I’m saying is the next time in I will bust a big-in but it must be soon. The reason I haven’t ran back down there is I wanted to get it on video, I’ll never be famous if I don’t get my act together on camera. I don’t know how long they will hold this pattern; I don’t even want the camera guy knowing what I’m seeing. I might haft to get it out of my system and take one of the 5 different shooters I have seen using the same trail for a week. The wind is right, rain is coming not sure what that will do. I’m pretty confused about this one. I tried to talk my women into videoing for me, she wasn’t that excited about it. This sucks, if I bust one they will know I’m there. Let’s pray, Dear God help to sort this one out. AMEN!

Duckhunter,

I did let him go, but I like your advice better!!!  I'm really trying to get a beast on camera even if it means letter good bucks slip by. Good luck in your neck of the woods!

seems to a question of to shoot or not to shoot: bow or camera, that is the question...a conundrum sure enough...I'd still have shot that first one, then relaxed and chased the rest with a camera, but then I'm not a hugh trophy chaser...good luck.
